Meet Chef Zoe: A Local San Luis Obispo Chef Creating Unforgettable Dining Experiences

As a longtime San Luis Obispo local, Chef Zoe has spent years crafting memorable meals that bring people together. Growing up in a big family with eight siblings, she discovered her love for cooking in the heart of her family’s kitchen. That passion led her to the Escoffier School of Culinary Arts in 2019, where she refined her skills and deepened her expertise.

Zoe’s culinary journey took her to Florence, Italy, where she lived for a year, immersing herself in the rich food culture and further fueling her love for cooking. The flavors, traditions, and artistry of Italian cuisine continue to inspire her approach to food today.

Now, as a private chef, Zoe specializes in intimate dining experiences, curating five- to six-course meals for small events of 6 to 12 people. Whether celebrating a birthday, anniversary, bridal shower, or bachelorette party, she creates customized menus that transform any gathering into a memorable occasion. With a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients and a creative touch, her dishes are designed to impress while making guests feel right at home. And if there’s one thing she’s especially known for, it’s her incredible pies—her chocolate cream, banana cream, and key lime pies have become local favorites.

Whether she’s serving an elegant tasting menu, a cozy family-style feast, or a perfectly crafted pie, Zoe brings a love for food, artistry, and hospitality to every plate.
